Visitors: Julie Leonard opened the watch since I was leading a field trip for the Festival of the Birds. Russ assisted with the count then I joined them shortly after she started and there were a number of others joining them including Walter Harmon, Frances Fornich, Rebecca Crofton, Clay Crofton, Desirae and Novalee Andrzejczak, Amy McNutt, Tim, Anita Huston, Eli and David Benson.
Weather: Variably cloudy with SW wind early then quickly shifting to the west. Unseasdonably warm.
Raptor Observations: A few birds started moving along the lake until the winded shifted to the west moving the flight too far south to see.
