I did not find the Little Blue Heron this morning along Franklin Creek in the Salt Marsh Preserve. But later about 10:30 am I found Little Blue in the Carpinteria State Beach feeding in Carpinteria Creek between the bridge and the beach. There was also a Dunlin present and a Western Snowy Plover sitting within one of the nesting cages just east of the creek.
