- Comments: "continuing. small pinkish dove with pink, black-tipped beak and scaly breast. at least 2 heard cooing, 1 seen clearly in the tree at (34.4504609, -119.9222822). watched for maybe 10-15 minutes before it flew to the east side of the road out of sight. i think there were 3-4 birds total all south of the reservoir, but not 100% sure, could've just been the two moving"

- Comments: "Continuing. In the Franklin Creek channel south of the footbridge. I watched it forage on the east bank and it kept going southward until where the channel bends to the west. Gorgeous adult. Blueish gray body, purple neck and head, multicolor bill with dark tip, patches of cobalt blue at base of bill and around eyes as well as plumes on back (typical for breeding)."

Small, active bird with a thin bill. Red crown feathers exposed when wet. Strong dark wing bar below thinner white one. Incomplete eye ring. Notably late for this species."
