Raptor Observations:
A relatively slow day for raptors, however it was a beautiful day to be out
on the platform! There were a total of 169 raptors today which officially
puts us over 80,000 birds for the season! There are two more weeks left,
lets see how many more we can find! Turkey Vultures (118) and Broad-winged
Hawks (27) were the most numerous species today. A handful of other species
were seen including 9 Bald Eagles, 5 Osprey, and 3 Sharp-shinned Hawks.
There were also two different Peregrine Falcons that passed over!

Non-raptor Observations:
Nothing too out of the ordinary was seen today. There were a few warbler
species by the parking lot including Palm and Nashville. Half a dozen
Caspian Terns were foraging over the bay.
