Great idea from Edge! The LAD foundation does wonderful work in the Ozarks.
And I have a suggestion for another place to bird just off Hwy 19 on your
way to/from Pioneer Forest: Indian Trail Conservation Area (formerly
Indian Trail State Forest). 13000+ acres of varied habitats and really
under-birded. I recently made two visits there. Mine were the first
checklists in eBird in a year!
