Subject: [cayugabirds-l] Bird news from Lighthouse Point Woods
Hi All,

The Cayuga Bird Club will be meeting at Lighthouse Point Woods two times
this week to get ready for planting native plants.
Thursday May 14th after work 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
Sunday May 17th late afternoon 4:00pm to 5:30pm.
Tasks -- inventory and label plants we already have down there waiting to
get planted, put up fencing, do some preliminary mapping.

In addition, I am down there nearly every day working on clearing lanes
through the privet so we can put up mist nets to capture and band birds (we
have all the required federal, state, city, and botanic gardens permits
that are needed to do this properly). I would love company. I often go
when I have a free window in my schedule, so if you want to meet me down
there, please reach out. I am cutting privet with a set of loppers and
could use help pulling it out and piling it up on piles I've started. We
can chat about anything related to the Cayuga Bird Club.

Thanks
Jody
