Temps in the low 40s to start, reaching a high of 55F. Winds were NW all day starting at 5-10mph and increasing to 10-20mph.
Raptor Observations: Today was a relatively slow day with only 102 raptors migrating over. Almost half were Turkey Vultures, with 28 Broad-winged Hawks, 19 Bald Eagles, and 8 Sharp-shinned Hawks representing the other half. The highlight of the day was an immature Golden Eagle! This individual is the 50th Golden Eagle of the season!
