Happy Mother's Day! With the report of a Whimbrel just west of SF, I could not resist going out. Not only the great pair of Whimbrels, but many different species, including Dowitchers, Godwits, Dunlin, Great Egret, SP Plovers (they are everywhere this spring. Usually we are lucky to see one.), Osprey, N. Harrier, many species of sandpipers, and ducks, etc. Some of the videos and photos are here on Flicker <https://www.flickr.com/gp/siouxfalls/Q48y8d3750>.
