Subject: [Ohio-birds] Blacklick Metro Park
Still good variety, and good numbers of birds. For the last couple of days, The Canopy walk has been providing good views of a variety of warblers, vireos and tanagers.
Yellow rumped warblers
Blackburnian warblers, very high numbers
American redstarts
Chestnut sided warblers
Northern parulas
Yellow warbler
Nashville warblers
Black throated green warblers
Cape may warblers
Bay breasted warblers
Yellow throated warbler, heard
Black and white warblers
Ovenbird
Magnolia warblers
Tennessee warbler
Black throated blue warblers
Hooded warbler heard
Common yellowthroat, heard

Yellow throated vireos
Red eyed vireos
Blue headed vireos
Warbling vireos
Baltimore orioles
Scarlet tanager
Summer tanager
Wood thrushes
Swainson’s thrushes
Veery
Great crested flycatcher, heard
Rose breasted grosbeaks
Ruby throated hummingbird
Ruby crowned kinglets
Red breasted nuthatches (3)
Pileated woodpecker
Eastern wood pewee, heard

Late last evening In the backyard, the male American redstart, took two baths in the pedestal bath, ignoring the waterfall that most of the warblers go to.
