Jenny Sweatt and Scott Bye found an adult Black-legged Kittiwake on the pier at Timber Cove in South Lake Tahoe today (5/9/26). This is a first Tahoe record, and perhaps El Dorado too? Sorry I couldn’t get the word out sooner, but I just heard about it. I’ll be trying for it in the morning and will post back here if I have luck.
