Subject: [Ohio-birds] Migration today
Was on! Nothing earth shattering - no fallouts. But good variety and ok
Numbers. We always try and predict where the birds will be and if good
Warblers. And usually we are wrong - at least with locations!

I was in Boone Kentucky. Tennessee Warbler was the warbler numbers king
Today. At least for me. Here in SW Ohio - it was Chestnut sided and Maggie’s!

I hit Lost Bridge coming home. And got lucky. A small flock of Semipalm
Sandpipers flew over me! Because with the distances involved there….
It can be shorebird conjecture…… I hope the Great Miami dries up enough
And comes through for us this summer and fall! For shorebirds.

That was 191 for the big year. Very appropriate - a shorebird for the tie for
What I ended up in Warren and Clinton! 192 was the Lark Sparrow. I am still
Missing a lot!

Ode notes - finally! A clubtail. Not sure which one though…. I am so out of
Practice…..

Good birding all.
