Yesterday was about lots of 2 species (Yellow-rumped Warblers and Hermit Thrushes). Today was about lots of species (19). Here's the list of the 30 new and 4 returns:
Hammond's Flycatcher 1 (FOS) Black-capped Chickadee 1 Bushtit 1 (our first female, caught in the net with one of the males we banded earlier this season) Northern House Wren 3 Hermit Thrush 2 Orange-crowned Warbler 1 Yellow Warbler 2 Yellow-rumped Warbler, Myrtle 5 Yellow-rumped Warbler, Audubon's 3 Northern Waterthrush 2, FOS MacGillivray's Warbler 1, FOS Common Yellowthroat 1 Wilson's Warbler 1 Yellow-breasted Chat 2, FOS, both returns - 1 banded in 2023, 1 in 2025 Spotted Towhee 1 Song Sparrow 1, banded 2025 Lincoln's Sparrow 3 White-crowned Sparrow, Mountain 1 Brown-headed Cowbird 1, FOS American Goldfinch 1, banded 2024

We are banding Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays) through May 31, weather permitting. There are opportunities for the public to visit on weekends and early mornings most weekdays. Reservations are required and can be made through the Denver Audubon website <https://www.denveraudubon.org/calendar>. (Many/most sessions are already sold out, so sign up now if you are interested!)
