Subject: [CT Birds] Turkey vultures & Eastern Kingbird
Walked outside this evening for fresh air and 4 large turkey vultures soaring overhead came down low and 2 perched for a few minutes in large maple trees. I was struck at how despite their size and awkwardness, they managed to hide themselves amongst the leaves.
FOY Eastern Kingbird. I’ve been watching a pair nesting on the same tree, at edge of canal for three years now- perhaps the same ones?
