Good Morning Birders,
I am a resident of the Outer Banks and looking to bird around Mt. Mithcell for three days starting June 11.
I am having a tough time finding available campsites and am now curious to see if you all have suggestions on where to stay cheaply.
Perhaps you have suggestions on the following: 1. Private campgrounds in the vicinity 2. Inexpensive motels nearby. 3. Even perhaps a private residence where I could pitch a tent in the backyard, and be very little hassle.
Ultimately, just looking for a place to sleep, given I want to be outside birding and hiking most of the trip.
