Hello all, I am leaving Michigan very soon for a drive to Kansas City for a wedding. I have been looking for wildlife refuges or interesting places to stop and check out migratory and local birds. I really do have limited mobility right now (back surgery scheduled for early summer) so I was trying to find either refuges with a wildlife drive or places to park where I can stretch my legs and see some things of interest. Walking is very painful, so I can't walk long trails. A quarter-mile is pushing my limit right now. I am most interested in finding interesting places to visit on my way back; I will be leaving KC probably Monday, May 18. I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you! Pat Burden Melvin & Yale, MI
