Subject: [MBBIRDS] Nesting box commotion
Under our eaves, we have a nesting box that has been used by violet-green
swallows for the past few years. Today we happened to be sitting close
enough to hear the flutter of rapid wingbeats inside the box. It was so
loud, I'd have thought there were several birds in there if I hadn't been
watching just two birds come and go. If you know what this fluttering
represents, please let me know.
