Communities Can Help to Conserve Birds

Presentation by
Dr. Jody Enck, Cayuga Bird Club

Wednesday, May 27, 2026 7 PM
Lansing Town Hall, 29 Auburn Road, (Rts. 34 & 34-B) Lansing

Free and Open to the Public

Getting the community engaged in bird conservation efforts can be challenging but offers many enduring rewards. Dr. Enck's inspirational and fun presentation will share practical lessons he's learned from leading community projects for the Cayuga Bird Club's Conservation Action Committee.
Dr. Enck's passion for birds was nurtured while growing up on a Pennsylvania farm. As an ecologist and social scientist, he's meshed his interests by studying birders and bird conservation. He's connected birders throughout the western hemisphere by forming the Sister Bird Club Network and leading over a dozen international birding trips for the CBC fostering real-world conservation challenges and successes.
