The Sunday morning bird walk at Ft. Harrison State Park turned up 54 species. It was slower than expected due to the recent stall in migration. Highlights included great looks at Osprey, Baltimore Orioles, and Scarlet Tanagers. Other highlights included Least Flycatcher right before the walk started, Indigo Buntings, and a Ruby-throated Hummingbird.
There will be a bird walk each Sunday in May at Ft. Harrison State Park. Meet at 8am in the NE corner of Delaware Lake parking lot.
