I hope you don't mind me using this medium to let you know about an important scientific documentary now playing at Crossgates Mall. While many of you bird watchers are scientific lay people, many others of you are scientists across various scientific fields. The documentary, while presenting known science, is designed for everyone.
It's called “The Story of Everything.” If you have never investigated the cosmological evidence for the universe having a beginning, this movie is for you. If you have heard about the scientific evidence for the features in biological systems which exhibit design but haven’t really studied such features, this film is for you. If you have heard the expression “the fine tuning of the universe” but don’t know much about it, the incontrovertible science presented in this documentary will amaze and educate you.
Many books and scientific articles have been written about these subjects over the last few decades. Finally, all the evidence has been summarized and gathered together in one exceptional documentary. It is the easiest way for scientists and lay people alike to see, hear, and understand the phenomenal scientific breakthroughs of the last century which have revolutionized how we see the universe and understand our place in it.
Given the unique nature of the film, its run at Crossgates is only scheduled for a few days, probably ending this Wednesday. Having read a number of the books and credentialed scientific papers the film is based on, I can’t wait to see it myself. I hope many of you will take advantage of this opportunity.
