Subject: [sbcobirding] Black-chinned Sparrows
All,

I went up to West Camino Cielo today via Refugio Road to "atlas" some Black-chinned Sparrows. I found 4 singing birds with most being about 2-3 miles W of the communications towers peak. Despite a late start (arriving up there after 9 am), I had a few migrant warblers. Two stopped long enough to id: a Townsend's and a Hermit.

I separately ran into Jim Hodgson and Adrian O along Refugio Canyon and they had both been hearing a YB Chat a little upstream of the first stream crossing.
