Mr. Sylvest was a true friend to all birders. He was very helpful when I was trying to find a swallow tornado and would call me with a location when he got word. Because of him, I did see a swallow tornado in the cane fields and will always remember his kindness. Thank you Jane for sharing this news. I hope he is flying hogh like the birds he loved. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Harriett
