Weather: Cloudy becoming completely overcast; 556-58 degrees; good visibility; winds light and southeasterly 3-6 mph
Raptor Observations: No migrants today. Even the three Turkey Vultures were hesitant to head north. Once the overcast settled in and with the impending rain moving closer, the count was ended.
Non-raptor Observations: Great-crested Flycatcher setting up his territory. A frenzy of miner bees knotted up in a golf ball-sized swarm - perhaps a mating ritual?
Site Description Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are from the southwest.
