Hello members,
My backyard has been busy with new arrivals - a Harris Sparrow, Brown Thrasher, RC Kinglet, and YR Warbler, plus at least 30 White-Throated Sparrows, both morphs.
Went out to Perry Nature Area today and found that the warbler migration is underway. Biggest surprise was a Palm Warbler (see photos). Also saw YR Warblers, Orange-Crowned, and Black & White. Plenty of RC Kinglets, too. White-Throated Sparrows were everywhere, and also had a few Lincoln Sparrows and a Chipping Sparrow. A Wood Duck was flying up and down the creek, also. Attached are some photos.
