Some notables returning to the area around the house in the last 24 hours:
White-eyed vireo - yesterday afternoon in state game area south of house east of Prospect Hill Whip-poor-will - old reliable back last night in the woods east of the house Wood Thrush - along the driveway easement
Brown thrashers have also been back for a couple of weeks.
