Hi all,
A possible Common Grackle was observed last evening at the SJWA and briefly again this morning by a second observer. The initial location was on the powerlines poles adjacent to Walker 10-12. Photos from last evening are from a distance and cropped. These will be posted on ebird as a "backbird spp." Today's observation was along the riparian strip on the southern edge of the Ramona Hunt Club west of Walker 12. Several birders will be out today and tomorow. . This is a very good county bird if confirmed, with most RIV Co sightings being Fall Desert observations. note: Possible only at this point based on comments and not-so-great photos.
