We started using that type of nesting box last season and have now switched
more boxes to this new "Gilbertson" style after good results. Supposedly
the HOSP do not prefer this new style so fingers crossed that they will
stay away from the Eastern Bluebirds and Tree Swallows who seem to like
this new design.
