Hi all, Last evening (Sunday April 26) we were at Piute Ponds and shortly before sunset we had a Golden-plover that seems a good candidate for American. Basic plumage dull bird with no apparent golden color, a 'capped' appearance, ducky wash on breast, bright supercilium, long primaries. Currently in eBird as American/Pacific, as we invite more opinions of experts. https://ebird.org/atlascalifornia/checklist/S328260822 Note that Piute Ponds is on Edwards Air Force Base and a permit is required for entry.
