It appeared that something was attached, hanging from its leg. At first glance, I thought it was a snake, however after seeing it the next day as well, I realized it was not a snake. I confirmed all the markings, beak, legs, white rail markings and I’m fairly certain it’s a Harris Hawk"

Easily found by its sharp whit call. - Comments: "Intergrades with black masks, myrtle-wide throats—yellow surrounded by white onto sides of neck, white superciliums. The one in the photo has a weak mask but otherwise looks good to me, though I’m not a moderator so what would I know?"
