I personally disagree with the plan to eventually change over 250 bird species names, making my extensive bird book library essentially worthless.Below is a link that describes the program and how to protest it. In fairness to those who agree with the plan, You can contact the American Ornithological Society to voice your support. The pilot project begins this year with about 7 birds and I believe the AOS will be asking for input, both positive and negative, once the pilot program begins.
