2 days ago, April 23, saw and heard FOS Ash-throated Flycatchers at Quail
Hollow. Very vocal!
Yesterday at Quail Hollow I heard (with Merlin’s help) a singing Cassin’s
Vireo alongside the creek up in the oaks. I couldn’t find it but its voice
is distinctive.
Wednesday the 22nd In Aptos, my son sent good photos of a bright male
Yellow-breasted Chat foraging for caterpillars and worms under his lemon
tree and also sent photos of an immature male Lazuli Bunting looking puffy
and chilled in the rain.
