Subject: [sbcobirding] Bill Wallace Trail/El Capitan Canyon Area
This morning Lynn and I birded the El Capitan Canyon area. We had at least one Blue Grosbeak in the dead Mustard plants west of the Bill Wallace Trailhead parking lot. By this year’s standard it was relatively birdy in the Canyon itself with the best birds being a Yellow-breasted Chat (near where the Wallace trail joins the resort road) and Hooded /Bullock’s Orioles, Western Tanagers, Black-headed Grosbeak at the Silky Oak trees at approx. 34.471186, -120.021697.
