A WHITE-WINGED DOVE was in Avalon on Santa Catalina Island on April 21.
A SOLITARY SANDPIPER continued along the Los Angeles River in Long Beach through April 18.
Inland BROWN PELICANS included a bird continuing at Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas through April 17 and others at Echo Park on April 18, at Peck Road Water Conservation Park in Arcadia on April 18 and at the Earvin Magic Johnson Recreation Area in Willowbrook on April 19.
A TROPICAL KINGBIRD continued at El Dorado Park in Long Beach through April 20 in Area 3.
A THICK-BILLED KINGBIRD continued in the Old Zoo and Merry-Go-Round area of Griffith Park through April 17. This is one of two birds that wintered in the park.
A CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was at Colorado Lagoon in Long Beach on April 17.
WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS were at Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas through April 18 (by Picnic Area 2), at the Kenneth Hahn SRA through April 18, along the Los Angeles River in Long Beach (east side, above the Willow Street crossing) through April 17, at Placerita Canyon on April 18 and in Whittier on April 19.
A GREEN-TAILED TOWHEE was in Avalon on Santa Catalina Island on April21.
A BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER continued on the east side of Monte Verde Park in Lakewood through April 22 and one was at Hansen Dam on April 18.
A CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER continued along Ballona Creek (north side) at McConnell Ave. just upstream from the 90 Freeway through April 16.
A SUMMER TANAGER continued along the San Gabriel River West Fork above Azusa through April 20. It was by the “Newt Crossing” sign a short distance up the road from Highway 39.
A male INDIGO BUNTING continued at Sand Dune Park in Manhattan Beach through April 22.
