Dear Birders I contacted Kern County Roads to get Jawbone Canyon Road fixed. They have graded it and Kelso Valley Road and Piute Mountain Road. I do not know the condition of Butterbredt Canyon Road as the responsibility for grading is nebulous with three agencies passing the buck. If anyone drives to Butterbredt, please let us know the conditions. Thanks. Good birding.
