Subject: [CT Birds] UConn Titan arum (off topic)
Apologies to drift off topic, but I thought many on this list might be interested to know that there is a titan arum (corpse flower) in the UConn Plant Biodiversity Conservatory that looks like it will bloom tonight.  These flowers are a couple of meters tall, bloom only every few years, and at night, and are only a few in New England.  The greenhouses are open until 2 am.
