FOY.
Together in the sun, under one of my feeders just now!
Along with several white & tan White-throated Sparrows, 8 Chipping Sparrows & some DE Juncos & some other usual suspects.
Earlier in the week, I’ve had Purple Finches, which are unusual here, both male and female, and a pair of Flickers cavorting around the yard.
I am hearing the cheerful, bubbly calls of House Wrens at my neighbor’s wren nest box area & across the loop road in the shrubby bushes.
Another neighbor reported hearing a Common Yellowthroat in the thicket/ marshy area on the south side near “Mt. Kendal.” I thought I saw a warbler in the private lawn west of Kendal yesterday, but could not see well enough to ID it.
And I have a pair of Chickadees in my recently mounted chickadee nest box!
