Hi All,
First, a reminder that the Cayuga Bird Club will be working on its bird habitat improvement project at Lighthouse Point Woods this coming Saturday (April 25th) and the first Sunday in May (3rd). We start with fun birding around 8:30am and switch over to habitat improvement efforts around 9:30 or so. We end around noon. Plenty of roles for folks to do that do not involve pulling privet although you can pull as much privet as you'd like!
Second, this is a last call for folks who are interested in helping survey grassland birds in the Ithaca area this summer. Training will be provided. Most surveys will require surveyors to walk out into grass fields (grass might be waist high for some surveys and can be wet from dew).
Please let me know if you are interested in either of these two general activities.
Thanks Jody
