Subject: [OrangeCountyBirding] Help identify a bird
I have seen a bird at feeder in my yard  that I  have been trying to identify.  My husband and I have seen this bird (singly) just recently four or five days.  The closest we have come to a comparable bird is Orange Billed Sparrow from South America.  The bird we've seen is the  size of a White Crown Sparrow.  The most notable feature is the bright, very thick orange bill.  It has a black crown, whitish throat and black and white striped back.  I hope someone else has seen this bird and will let us know the identity.  Thanks for your help.
