Visitors: Kirk Szklenski arrived early and stayed late providing invaluable support. Others included Patty Hauchlander, Jackie Danmore, Keith Stock, Kate Ebersol.
Weather: Early clear skies, 20% clouds midday, 100% clouds late in the watch with S winds down escarpment most of day and SW wind at site #1 on Rt 5 where the entire count was conducted. Winds diminished in velocity through the day. Clear skies early generated warming which fueled the flight. A mild front, which arrived at 5:30,pushed the final birds through.
Raptor Observations: Day began with a single sharpie 20ft overhead and ended with a 219 BW push in the final 15 minutes. Flight line swayed numerous times between Rt 5 and very high a 1/4 mile offshore to the north. BWs and TVs numbers generally started slow and built through the day.
