Hi everyone —
The Hudson-Mohawk Bird Club’s field trip to the New York State Museum
ornithology collection takes place this Saturday, 25 April. Before the
museum tour, we’ll be meeting up at Buckingham Pond in the City of Albany
at 8:00 a.m. for some spring birding. While the museum tour is limited to
15 participants, birding at Buckingham Pond is open to anyone interested in
joining us. If you've signed up for the museum tour but want to skip
birding beforehand, you should plan on meeting us at the museum lobby by
10:30 a.m.
The parking lot for Buckingham Pond is located at 39 Berkshire Boulevard in
Albany at the junction with Colonial Avenue (the park is also accessible
from public transportation):
We still have some spots open for the museum tour, so even though the
registration deadline was this past Saturday, we can accommodate a few
last-minute sign-ups, if anyone is interested. These spots are available on
a first-come, first-served basis; please register by emailing me directly
at <tristanlowery...> as soon as possible.
