Subject: [Ohio-birds] Blacklick Metro Park
Chilly start, but still lots of singing. Front picnic areas were the most productive.
Pine warblers
Black throated green warblers
Yellow jumped warblers
Northern parulas slightly higher numbers today
Yellow throated warbler
Palm warbler
Blue headed vireos
White eyed vireo
Red breasted nuthatches (abundant)
Pileated woodpecker (attacking the window at the Lodge)
Yellow bellied sapsucker
Blue gray gnatcatchers
Ruby crowned kinglet
Hermit thrushes (One of them slowed me down because he was walking rather slowly down the trail)
Brown thrasher (heard)
House wren
Wood duck
White throated sparrows
