Official Counter: Christopher Hollister

Observers:

Visitors:
None.

Weather:
Unfavorable conditions for hawk watch/raptor migration. Unseasonably cold,
persistent WNW winds, intermittent snow showers. I consulted with the Hawk
Watch organizer and decided to pull the plug at 1:00pm local/Daylight
Saving Time.

Raptor Observations:
* 5 turkey vultures
* 2 red-tailed hawks
* 2 bald eagles (both adults)
* 1 Cooper's hawk

Non-raptor Observations:
Birds: Nothing particularly noteworthy. Two personal FOY species (blue-gray
gnatcatcher and northern house wren). Only Canada geese and one mallard on
the pond. Link to eBird checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S324800874.

Other wildlife: Three white-tailed deer. (Note: We are in Daylight Saving
Time, but HMA registers in Eastern Standard Time. So notwithstanding the
times recorded here, I observed from 10:00am-1:00pm local time.)

Predictions:
Improving conditions for tomorrow. Cloudy skies. Turning warmer. High
57F/14C by mid-afternoon. Winds from the south at 10-15mph/16-24kph.
