Sorry to be so slow in reporting this, but there was an adult Common Loon at Silver Lake (Lake Harbor) at around 1 PM today. I saw a disturbance in the water and watched, expecting one of the "usual suspects," when up popped the loon. I also encountered my first BH Cowbird today, although I identified by sound because I didn't see him.
