Weather:
South/southeast wind in the morning with full sun and warm temperatures. As
the day progressed, the southeast winds became stronger with a beautiful
clouded background. A great day for Raptorthon!

Raptor Observations:
Golden Eagles: 9:13 GE Adult, 2:39 Juvenile
Bald Eagles: 9:23 Adult, 1:59 Subadult, 1:59 Subadult, 2:26 Sub II, 2:29
Subadult, 2:33 Sub I

Several accipiters throughout the day that were not migrating.

Non-raptor Observations:
American Crow, American Robin, Black-capped Chickadee, Blue Jay, Chipping
Sparrow, Chimney Swift, Common Raven, Downy Woodpecker, Eastern Bluebird,
Eastern Towhee, Field Sparrow, Northern Cardinal, Northern Flicker,
Red-bellied Woodpecker, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Tree Swallow, Tufted
Titmouse, White-Breasted Nuthatch, Yellow-rumped Warbler

19 Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, 2 Black Swallowtail, 3 Spicebush Swallowtail,
1 Mourning Cloak, 12 Cabbage White
1 Orange Sulfur


Predictions:
Cloudy skies early, followed by partial clearing. Cooler. High 52F. Winds
WNW at 15 to 25 mph.
