Observations:1 GOEA spotted today.*
*unknown: 13:39*
*Other migrating raptors include 1 OSPR, 2 RTHA, 45 BWHA, 1 SSHA, 1 NOHA,
and 1 TUVU.*
*Relatively low movement given seemingly perfect conditions. There was some
decent movement in the morning but it seemed like everything came to a stop
after 12:00. I was ready to call it after 2 hours with no raptors, but
luckily I stuck around for longer and was rewarded with a GOEA. I was
recording weather data at the time when I noticed a group of TUVU acting
scared, looked up, and saw a very high GOEA going NE over the ridge.
Definitely one of the highest GOEA we've had so far, I am always impressed
these vultures can sense them so high up from so far away. Less exciting,
we hit 200 TUVU today.Non-raptor

*25 COLO seen in the morning, much less than yesterday even though
conditions were much better today. Also 7 DCCO. Decent passerine flight
with 43 BLJA, 1 TRES, 2 NRWS, 1 BARS, 1 AMRO, 1 HOFI, 14 PUFI, 79 AGOL, 2
PISI, 1 RWBL, and 15 YRWA.Predictions:Cloudy with NW wind in the morning,
mostly cloudy with WNW wind in the afternoon. Not sure what to expect as
these are not as good winds as today, but today's winds could have brought
raptors closer that will be eager to move tomorrow.
