My version of the dawn of spring is here, the arrival of the Prothonotary Warblers at the Hoover Nature Preserve. This spring I installed some new nest boxes around the preserve. Other species of interest this afternoon after te rain stopped include Yellow-throated Warbler, Northern Parula, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Warbling Vireo, Great Egret, Bald Eagle and Osprey.
