Subject: [ia-bird] Nashville warbler! Benton Co
Hi all!
I just stopped into my favorite park really quick this am and saw some
birds flitting in the flowering plums, before I even got to the parking
lot. One with bright yellow caught my eye. It took a minute to actually get
my binocs on it. Lo and behold it was a Nashville Warbler! That is a record
3rd earliest on the IOU early/late dates! Wow!
Yesterday, I ran out to my favorite marsh, Edna Shain Fen by Mt. Auburn and
was very surprised to see a White-faced Ibis! This is a first record on
eBird for Benton Co. This wetland is only around 5 years old! If you build
it they will come!

Happy Spring!
