Subject: [CT Birds] Rusty Blackbirds and Red-breasted Nuthatch
A nice if muddy walk around Spectacle Brook Swamp in North Wilton yielded
FOY Yellow Warbler and Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. Rusty Blackbirds can be heard
from the left side of the Woodcock Nature Center entry drive.

Highlight was a Red-breasted Nuthatch singing briefly from a stand of
evergreens on Fawn Place off Deer Run.

Kudos to Woodcock Nature Center for adding some new little boardwalks over
muddy patches on the trails.
