Dorothy was correct. We hung around the house yesterday and cleaned out the garage. New birds in our yard for 2026 were Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Scarlet Tanager, Baltimore Oriole and just before dark I heard a Whip-poor-will that was calling on Pipestem S.P
We have had record numbers of Purple Finches at the feeders this spring. High count of 37 with several days in the teens & 20s. So far, this morning only a half dozen.
