Weather: Mostly cloudy; a toasty 89-90 degrees; fair to good visibility with some haze; winds light with a southwesterly component in the last 3 hours.
Raptor Observations: A modest but enjoyable flight. Sharp-shins took over bragging rights from Turkey Vultures for most numerous raptor species of the day.
Non-raptor Observations: Snowy Egret, Northern House Wren, American Redstart
Site Description Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are from the southwest.
