In case anyone is interested, spotted about 50 ibises in their usual marshes at the intersection of Route 1 and the Hammonasset River. If the white-faced was among them, could not tell, as they were fairly distant, then lifted and dropped down behind the river bank, out of sight. But nice to see they are returning in some numbers.
